Looks like the problem is PyDOLFIN.

Yes, it's definitely PyDOLFIN that is the problem, and it seems to be
related to finding some symbol in PETSc.

Are you on a Mac? If so, let's hope some Mac wizard (=Åsmund) will
recognize the problem.
