I have never tested, but parallel assembly is getting closer. It
remains to reorder the degrees of freedom (class DofMap) so we get an
efficient numbering scheme for parallel assembly. A simple demo is
available in

  src/sandbox/pmesh/main.cpp

I hope we'll have something that works ok (just assembly) next week.
