Make progress bar less annoying.
- For small tasks which take less than 1 second to complete,
  the progress bar will never be displayed.
- For large tasks, the progress bar will appear and be updated
  more frequently (if possible) than before with ticks that are
  not limited to increments of size 10%.
- In summary: the progress bar will only appear when necessary
  and be more useful than before
