Vector::operator= appears to be broken. Getting

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
  what():  *** Error: The operator = can not be used in GenericVector

when doing x = y with Vector. To recreate, try doing something like 
x_old = x in the conv-diff demo.
