    I noticed that since I updated to dolfin ver. 0.8.1 some of the demos
that use assemble() instead of pde.solve under python don't work. The issue
is that the solutions that come from assemble() return empty value or don't
return values at all. Is this dolfin related? In my case I prefer to use
assemble() since I have more control on the functions/elements.
    Is anyone else having this problem? I also tried this on other linux
platforms with the same results.
