will do (as soon as my dolfin is working again, I think I pulled a bit too soon, File.cpp is generating compiler errors

dolfin/io/XMLHandler.h:18: warning: 'class dolfin::XMLHandler' has virtual functions but non-virtual destructor

But your temporary fix of just loading from vectors works perfectly in python...thanks

When it's been verified that this works both in Python and C++, and
the demos have been migrated we can remove the precompiled elements.
