We're getting closer. All demos are running in parallel now (or
exiting gracefully).

It only remains to

  1. Measure speedup

  2. Get the buildbot green

The script for (1) is already in place so we just need to run it.  Our
cluster (bigblue.simula.no) has been offline for maintenance today so
we can try again tomorrow.

For (2), we need MPI and PETSc with MUMPS on all the buildbots. That
might take some more work. Johannes may know what needs to be done.
The script that runs the demos might also need some tuning.
