Yes, something is wrong with it, and I can't seem to find it again on
the original slepc site.

I have (instead) fetched 3.0.0-p7 and dropped it in the same folder. For
now, and you can change p6 -> p7 in your packages/slepc.package. I have
made this change to my local dorsal repository, and will push it when
all the server stuff settles.
