I'm getting an error when running an application that used to work (a
couple of weeks ago):

  cpp.VariationalProblem.solve(self, u)
  RuntimeError: *** Error: Linear algebra backend solver does not support 'set_operators'.

Any ideas what goes wrong?

It's obviously related to the recent linear algebra fixes, but where
to look?
