It just seems to be that we have some duplication. In the root directory
we have

  if(DOLFIN_ENABLE_ZLIB)
    include(FindZLIB.dolfin)
  endif(DOLFIN_ENABLE_ZLIB)

and in dolfin/CMakeList.txt we have

if(DOLFIN_ENABLE_ZLIB AND DOLFIN_ZLIB_FOUND)
  add_definitions(-DHAS_ZLIB)
  list(APPEND DOLFIN_INCLUDE_DIRECTORIES ${DOLFIN_ZLIB_INCLUDE_DIRS})
  list(APPEND DOLFIN_LIBRARY_DIRECTORIES ${})
  list(APPEND DOLFIN_TARGET_LINK_LIBRARIES ${DOLFIN_ZLIB_LIBS})
endif(DOLFIN_ENABLE_ZLIB AND DOLFIN_ZLIB_FOUND)

It's also two place where changes may have to be made.

OK.

It may be worth looking at this one:

https://ljkforge.imag.fr/scm/viewvc.php/*checkout*/life/trunk/CMakeLists.txt?revision=6394&root=life

It's pretty compact. The CMakeLists.txt file in what is our 'dolfin' is
very brief,

https://ljkforge.imag.fr/scm/viewvc.php/*checkout*/life/trunk/life/CMakeLists.txt?revision=6012&root=life
