Johannes Ring proposed the following answer:
You should have /root/Work/FEniCS/lib first in LD_LIBRARY_PATH. If you
source dolfin.conf you should get this right:

  source /root/Work/FEniCS/share/dolfin/dolfin.conf

Also make sure DOLFIN is built against Boost located under
/root/Work/FEniCS. That is, set BOOST_DIR=/root/Work/FEniCS and then
rebuild DOLFIN.
