It looks that the DOLFIN assembly in my branch (after some merging) has 
significantly slowed down. At least I only do a dolfin::assemble() on a 
functional and it takes ages, but only for functionals. But I will 
investigate it further and come up with testcase if it turns out that it 
has nothing to do with my branch or merged code.
