Some extra information: using uBLAS backend I get

Symbolic factorization of a matrix of size 303 x 303 (UMFPACK).
    LU factorization of a matrix of size 303 x 303 (UMFPACK).
    UMFPACK problem related to call to numeric
    *** Warning: UMFPACK reports that the matrix being solved is singular.
    Solving linear system of size 303 x 303 (UMFPACK LU solver).
    UMFPACK problem related to call to solve
    *** Warning: UMFPACK reports that the matrix being solved is singular.
