I don't see any error messages in your CMakeError.log other than this
warning:

  gmake[1]: warning: Clock skew detected. Your build may be incomplete.

I'm not sure if this is what causes the Armadillo build test to fail.
You can try to remove the contents of the DOLFIN build directory and see
if that helps.

Regarding your question about the build sequence: If you build them in
the sequence you listed above, then you should be okay.
