As discussed earlier, the plan is to release 1.0-rc1 on Friday, but
that requires fixing a whole lot of bugs:

Please take a look and help out fixing as many of those bugs as
possible.

I will try to fix as many as I can but I'm certain I can't fix all of
them.

If there are remaining bugs on Friday, they will either be retargeted
for 1.1 if suitable, or I will make a release of 1.0-beta3 and move
1.1-rc1 to next Friday (and so on).
