Maybe....  With Garth's recent changes, dolfin just compiled on my 
leopard system.  (Thanks Garth!)  Still working through the rest of the 
packages...

About petsc:  I'm not sure what you mean by "work", but if "work" means 
"compile", then yes.  With...

export CC=gcc-mp-4.4
export CXX=g++-mp-4.4

...defined in the *.platform file.  As I'm not yet in a position to 
test, I can't tell if it "works".
