Re: Kick off

Hi Reenen

Thanks for the Wiki suggestion, I'll look into it. We don't "lurkers", and
we do appreciate comments and suggestions as you've just done.

Please do us one favour though: "spread the word"; tell your friends, post
messages, etc. We need quite a lot of non-"lurkers" to make this work.

Regards
Charl

Subject: Re: [Dubuntu-team] Kick off

Apologies, beforehand.

I am not at all a very serious developer, and I joined the project out
of interest... for now I am not at all going to be active, but if you
don't mind, I'll remain on the project as a "lurker". :-)

My main agenda (if you could call that) is the inclusion of Lazarus
into the distro (which is not a "main-stream" development tool at the
moment). Other than that, I have very little experience with ubuntu,
nevermind developing in python, C, C++, etc.

In terms of your name, I am very happy with Dubuntu, and Devbuntu is
harder to pronounce.

Btw. I believe you can do survey's on wikis, though they are really
surveys that are just embedded in the wiki.

In my experience Wiki's are by far the easiest web authoring tool, and
has amazing depth and flexibility.

Regards,
-Reenen
