Re: [Question #107218]: Backing up to both an FTP site (regularly) and an external HDD (manually and occasionally)

Question #107218 on Duplicity changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/duplicity/+question/107218

    Status: Open => Answered

edso proposed the following answer:
Hi Aaron,

(1) duplicity doesn't support multiple backup targets. Nonetheless
using two different duplicity commands differing by target works as you
described.

(2) people who don't have differing backup schedules for the backup
jobs, or they simply don't want duplicity run two times

(3) the backup data is not bound to a storage. You can put it anywhere
you like and point duplicity's backend to it. It works for (1) and (2).
You can even change in/excludes or the source folder (issues a warning,
needs parameter) if you want to.

regards ede
