Re: [Question #118161]: Efficiency of doing full backups to s3

Question #118161 on Duplicity changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/duplicity/+question/118161

    Status: Open => Answered

Kenneth Loafman proposed the following answer:
The backup type you want is a differential backup and duplicity does not
support those yet.

A full backup will do a complete backup each time.

So my question is, if I tell duplicity to do a full backup each time, is this still bandwidth-efficient? Does it take advantage of the data that's already on the server and so avoid re-sending it?
