edso has proposed merging lp:~ed.so/duplicity/0.6-nonfatal_exclude into lp:duplicity.

i also checked the possibility to include support for file selection on the backend but decided it to be to much effort in comparision that it is already possible to cherry pick files/folders.

the whole selection python code is really complex, and while it would be possible to a fluent python hacker i am not up to it for now.

hence only the error was turned to a warning. problem solved :)
