[Question #252663]: temp_dir /tmp not recognizing free space

New question #252663 on Duplicity:
https://answers.launchpad.net/duplicity/+question/252663

Working in Solaris 11, using latest version of all products, get the following error message:
root@t00-dns0:~# export TEMP_DIR=/tmp
root@t00-dns0:~# duply test backup --force
Start duply v1.8.0, time is 2014-08-05 15:52:43.
Using profile '/export/home/admin/.duply/test'.
Using installed duplicity version 0.6.24, python 2.6.8, gpg 1.4.16 (Home: ~/.gnupg), awk 'GNU Awk 3.1.8', bash '4.1.11(2)-release (i386-pc-solaris2.11)'.
Signing disabled. Not GPG_KEY entries in config.

Sorry. A fatal ERROR occured:

Temporary file space '/tmp' free space is smaller (0MB)
than one duplicity volume (25MB).

Hint: Free space or change TEMP_DIR setting.

/tmp has 230GB free...

root@t00-dns0:~# df -h /tmp
Filesystem Size Used Available Capacity Mounted on
swap 230G 0K 230G 0% /tmp
