Message #03553
[Question #294649]: can the dynamic files (like manifest) be stored in a separate container for cold storage?
New question #294649 on Duplicity:
https://answers.launchpad.net/duplicity/+question/294649
Oracle is now offering (just like amazon) very cheap cold storage. (at 0.001 USD per GB per month)
Unfortunately the data is only available after 4 hours. That is fine for the actual backup data but problematic for the manifest.
Would it be possible to store the manifest (and potential other dynamic files) in a separate hot container to have direct access?
Thanks,
Tom
