I actually set up the duplicity team and duplicity project on Gitlab after that discussion (to reserve the name and start poking around). I have added you, Ken, as an owner on those. Feel free to control the members as you see fit. (Note that it is a basic account now, but as an open source project you can request the pro tiers for free.) No pressure to start any work on anything, but in case it helps.

We have been discussing a potential move for quite a while. As the preliminary step for either of those would be the bzr -> git translation, my thinking was that completing that transition would be a step in the right direction.

I did also find a number of tools to help this. The Launchpad page:

has a section at the bottom with a bunch of other links.
