Re: Anybody upgraded to karmic ?
OK, I upgraded my wife's dv4z without any major problems. I did not
have to change anything - but then I had not made any modifications in
jaunty (except to run alsa 1.0.20). karmic has alsa 1.0.20 by default.
Did not have any issues with wireless. The laptop had the opensource
X drivers, and no problems with upgrade on those as well.
Trouble: suspend and hibernate work when you choose them from the
menu. But when you close the lid, suspend hangs with disk failure.. no
way to get back other than hard reboot.
