  Cannot enter search text in dash, HUD or run overlays

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  For the dash (Super key), HUD (Alt key) and run (Alt+F2) overlays, I
  find the keyboard is functional: arrow keys, tab, etc. can be used.

  However, any typed text does not appear in the search box.
