[Bug 1225589] Re: Newly installed application won't run from Unity panel.

 

Also, alt-tab will not let me switch to gbrainy, though super-W does -
so looks like Unity is not recognizing new application at all.

  After installing bloboats, extreme tux racer, and gBrainy from Ubuntu
  software center, the newly added icons don't work. They don't even
  highlight when clicked, although the apps run fine from terminal.
