Title:
Inconsistent use of "Sources" in Filter Results in Unity lenses
Status in Ayatana Design:
New
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
With current Saucy, only the Home lens and the Applications lens has a
Sources filter in Filter Results.
For consistency, I recommend that either all lenses use the Sources
filter or none do. (If you choose to remove the Sources filter, we
could just direct people to the Search Plugins filter in the
Applications lens for them to disable scopes that they don't want.)
Perhaps the Sources filter could be automatically generated from
scopes that opt-in to a particular lens. In that case, bug1189026 and
bug 1189040 are probably pre-requisites.
