[Bug 1073298] Re: Multi-monitor - Panel shadow is visible on top of non-focused fullscreen apps when all monitors have a fullscreen app

 

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many
changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem
may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if
you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test
it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running
apport-collect 1072398  and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.

Bug description:
  This is a multiple monitor issue.

  Open a window on each monitor (white new browser windows work well).
  Fullscreen each widow (F11 - not maximize) so that ALL monitors have a fullscreen app.
  The non-focused app(s) will have the panel shadow visible. (I've only tested with two monitors.)

  This is really bad with with apps like vmware that are used full
  screen frequently and don't report focus back to the host.
