Bug description:
as normal after recent update to 13.10 this machine usual test of
web and sound check it is my norm to run you tube during this check
video started to stutter and sound intermitant warning appeared
at same time of 13.10 system failiure so i cut firefox so as not to
rob report to bug manager bandwidth very slow connection here in
sussex alps copper wire only 4 mb @best at same time a few more sys
failures appered and approved report again nothing unusual on
system lately except buzz in sound system when SKYPE IS USED alsa
is installed pulse removed and qasmixer acting as control etc
working ok prior to recent update gb ubuntu uk typing tjhis out
now cpu1 = 6.9% CPU2 =8.1 % 13.04 ON SAME HDD AND MACHNE RUNS
BOTH CPU'S @ ABOUT 5% AVERAGE DUE TO SEVERE ABI can not remember
alll update tonight except ubuntu base 30.2 mb was last on list
synaptic shows all up to date as does software updater sorry cant
help more
