[Bug 1229385] Re: Redundant Shut Down Options
In the most recent updates, this seems to have been implemented: only
one "Shut Down..." option in the menu and then the choice between
"Restart" and "Shutdown". Perfect!

Title:
Redundant Shut Down Options
Status in Ayatana Design:
New
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When ending a session, I get 4 options: log out, suspend, restart and
shut down.
Restart and Shut Down are redundant, because clicking them leads to a
dialog with the choice between Restart an Shut Down.
So, the menu entries should be reduced to: log out, suspend and shut
down is enough and more consistent.
