[Bug 390508] Re: notifyOSD ignores the expire timeout parameter
When someone asks me 'what does digging your heels in' mean? I'm gonna
refer them to this page. I mean this is just stupid. Make the timeout
configurable - everyone's asking for it, it's easy to do. Most people
wanting to do this for real-time updates like media streaming or guard-
like auto-testing (Rails FTW) which are totally legitimate reasons.
The users of Ubuntu have asked for what they want. Yet it is open
source (socially-led) and our views means nothing? Sounds like
personality is getting in the way of progress here.
