Title:
Clicking on an email number/folder in the indicator does make
  thunderbird the forground app

Status in The Messaging Menu:
  Triaged
Status in “indicator-messages” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Old way:
Click on inbox 3 in indicator messages and thunderbird became the foreground application with the first of the 3 emails in the inbox selected.

  New Way:
Click on inbox 3 in indicator messages and thunderbird stays in the background with the first of the 3 emails in the inbox selected which makes it less usable.
