Title:
Clicking play with no media player open does not start playback

Status in “indicator-sound” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
When you click the play button with no media player open, Banshee is
loaded correctly, but playback does not start. I suspect this may be
an issue with Banshee as when I load banshee and press my mapped key
binding for playback (Ctrl-Down Arrow) it doesn't start playback
either. When I click a track to start it playing, the controls in the
sound indicator (and my key bindings) work fine - this seems to be
mainly an issue with getting that first track playing.
