[Bug 1251073] Re: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Display

 

Please test this using the current daily build. If the issue is still
present and you are using multiple monitors there is a possible
workaround which I'll detail below. If the issue is still present and
you don't use multiple monitors/the fix there didn't work, mark this as
a duplicate of bug #1253693. The packages at fault here are "indicator-
datetime, indicator-session, and possibly some others".

Multimonitor workaround:

 dconf reset -f /org/compiz/
 setsid unity

and setting unity launcher placement to "all displays" which should be
the default.

  At the moment on the top right the USERNAME, Clock, and the Calender
  dont show and not running. done got all the updates. it was runing b4
  i did a chunk of updates... Testing
