[Bug 1254350] Re: "Shut down" in unity-2d-panel does not work after upgrade
Investigating further, it appears this issue is in GNOME:
$ gnome-session-quit
** (gnome-session-quit:16622): WARNING **: Failed to call logout: The

I upgraded from 12.04 to Trusty, and when I did so, the "shut down"
button did not work.
That is, no dialog appeared after I pressed it.
