Title:
Selecting incoming message does not raise corresponding chat window to
  the foreground

Status in “indicator-messages” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:

  1) receive chat message (pidgin/empathy) while already having the window open
  2) click the message via the blue messanger symbol in the top

error: window wont get raised, i have to click it again from the unity
  launcher bar thingie

  expected behaviour:
on clicking the message in the messanger symbol, the chat window raises to the forground

basically we have gone from one click on the pidgin systray icon to
get to the new message to three clicks (blue symbol to open menu,
message in the menu, piding symbol in unity launcher) to get to the
  message.
