[Bug 1217278] Re: Doesn't actually disable bluetooth
I'm using Saucy, and there is no longer any reasonable way to disable
bluetoothd. I don't use Gnome or Unity, so I cannot use indicator-
bluethooth. BUM (Boot-Up Manager) no longer works either.
There are multiple references to editing /etc/rc.local, but this is a
very hackish method.
I understand that bluetooth has become extremely common, but I don't
have any bluetooth technology on my computer.
I realize that this is not bluetooth-indicator, but it may be the root
cause of the issue: meaning someone changed something in bluetoothd,
Upstart, or whatever starts the daemon that affects all projects that
try to control the daemon.

If I uncheck "bluetooth" in the indicator, bluetooth is not disabled
as shown by gnome-control-center's bluetooth capplet and my phone.
