  no "running" indicator in the MessagingMenu

Status in “indicator-messages” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  The indicator in the messaging menu that shows that state of an app as
  weather its running or not is gone after the latest bach of updates.
  Now you don't know if an app is running or not.

  in the attached screenshot, Both Chat and Broadcast applications are
  running but there is no indication.
