Title:
auto-hide leaves small strip of unusable screen

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I have the launcher set to reveal on the left side, with auto-hide.
When the launcher hides, full screen windows expand to the left edge,
but there is a strip of light gray exactly the size of the launcher
  obscuring the windows below it.
