Title:
notification-daemon crashed with signal 5 in g_source_remove()
Status in “notification-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I'm using a laptop with a monitor attached and arandr to configure one
above the other (like one large screen). Often times I only need to
use the monitor so switch the laptop screen off via arandr.
This error seems to be occurring when laptop screen off, monitor
screen on, close the laptop screen to suspend, open laptop screen.
Opening the lid switches the monitor screen off and switches the
laptop screen back on (but I think the system is considering the
monitor is still on because when I reopen the monitor via arandr there
is info; I'll double check this).
I am not experiencing the problem on 12.04 installs when using only monitor and opening lid from suspend on the same machine.
14.04 running very well for me apart from this minor glitch.
I'm using 14.04 LTS minimal install with xfce4 as a DE.
