Title:
Notification bubbles not disappearing when hovered by mouse pointer
Status in “notify-osd” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Status in “notify-osd” source package in Precise:
Invalid
Bug description:
The notification bubbles no longer seem to disappear when entering
them with the mouse pointer. This doesn't happen when the notification
appears under the mouse pointer.
TEST CASE:
0. Make sure the mouse pointer is not in the notification bubble area.
1. Cause a bubble to appear (volume change or use notify-send from the libnotify-bin package).
2. Move the pointer over the bubble and wait.
RESULT:
* The notification does not disappear until the pointer is moved outside of the bubble for a while.
Attaching a short screencast showing the issue with the volume
indicator.
