[Bug 504225] [NEW] Fails to detect Wibox as panel (in Awesome)

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

When using Awesome [1] as a window manager, notify-osd fails to detect
its component wibox as a panel and falls back to displaying bubble in
top right corner, hiding part of the actual panel. This looks ugly and
notify-osd should either detect awesome's panel correctly or provide a
way to set the gap between bubble and end of the screen. (No need for
GUI though, I guess all Awesome users are capable of configuring it
without it.)

I am using Debian unstable, notify-osd version 0.9.23-2.
