  Notifications disappear in Zaphod dual-head mode

Status in “notify-osd” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Notifications don't cope well with Zaphod mode dual-head configuration
  (where each monitor is configured as a separate screen, rather than as
  a single giant screen in traditional Xinerama mode).

  Specifically, the notifications bubbles, which display on the primary
  screen, aren't shown if the primary screen isn't active.  E.g., if I'm
  working on the second display, I will not see notifications.  If I'm
  on the primary screen and a notification appears, it will disappear if
  I switch to the second screen, and re-appear if I switch back to
  primary.

  I am running Jaunty with all updates, using the proprietary nVidia
  drivers.  My dual-head xorg.conf was generated by the nvidia-settings
  tools by setting "Configuration" to "Separate X screen".
