  Piled popups appear at the left of the screen with metacity

Status in “notify-osd” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Hello,
  I noticed some popups go at the left part of the screen when metacity is used. For example, liferea shows me a updated RSS on the right part of the screen (the usual position), but the second updated RSS is showed at the left part, at the same time. If there's more popups to show, they all show at the left part and the same time.

  When compiz is activated, everything is fine, the second popup waits
  for the first to disappear before to show itself.

  I use Debian Sid with the Hadret's repository from
  http://hadret.rootnode.net/. He told me to report the bug upstream
  because it does not come from packaging. The current version is
  v0.9.29 with notify-icons v0.5.

  (Also, "notify-send" doesn't work for me, did i miss something ?)
