Message #10233
[Bug 1283822] Re: clock disappeared from notification area
So's happening here is that indicator-datetime-service stopped for
whatever reason and wasn't restarted by the system. If the problem was
repeatable, we could try to figure out why it stopped in the first
place. Fortunately, Ted Gould's upstart coding this cycle has fixed the
restarting problem.
Thank you again for taking the time to report this bug and helping to
make Ubuntu better. Please submit any future bugs you may find.

clock disappeared from notification area
Status in The Date and Time Indicator:

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Suddenly I realized the clock was not there, where it usally is, on the top-right corner of the screen.
I dono't know how long it was since it had disappeared; however I had restarted the computer no more than a few minutes earlier.
After reboot, the clock is there again as expected.
Maybe the clock widget crashed?
