Fabio, could you confirm for me then that "upower --dump" shows
/discharging/ while the battery is charging?

And, to make sure I'm understanding, when you say "soon the indicator
rises", you mean the indicator shows that the charge level is going up
(eg, by showing an icon that's more full, or by the device showing a
higher percentage) without ever showing the 'charging' icon?
