  shadows for application names in sidebar are showing shadow edges

Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  when hovering on an application launcher on the unity sidebar the applications name produces a shadow that is showing its edes.
  I am using ubuntu 14.04 updated to date 3/12/14
