Title:
New shortcut hint conflicts with startup dialog in guest sessions
Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
The new shortcut hint shows up by default every time you enter a guest
session. Personally I think that this in itself is unnecessary, but
there is also a design conflict.
There is now a simple zenity dialog that shows up by default at the
start of a guest session. It warns the guest about the fact that they
can't save stuff in $HOME and expect it to stay. That dialog is
thought to become in focus, but then there is the shortcut hint... The
result does not give a pleasant impression.
I think that the shortcut hint feature should not apply to guest
sessions. Guess this could be fixed either in unity or in lightdm;
adding tasks for both packages for now.
