[Bug 1295122] Re: Alarms not going off reliably on recent touch images

So there are the two separate issues mentioned above in the previous
comment, which have been fixed in their own tickets.

There's also the Qt 5.2 event loop issue that stopped unity-
notifications from responding, which has been addressed outside of this
ticket.

I don't believe there are any pending issues here that weren't addressed
elsewhere, so I'm marking this ticket as invalid to close it off. If I'm
wrong about this, please reopen the ticket and provide more information.
Thanks!

Title:
Alarms not going off reliably on recent touch images

Status in “indicator-datetime” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Alarms are not reliable on recent images on touch.

Even on not deep sleep mode, (wakelock with powerd-cli active), the
alarm doesn't ring everytime when the screen is blanked. The first
  alarm worked, not the others.

Popey: See's the alarm notification but not hears no sound.
davmor2: I see and hear the alarm and notification if the device is awake if the screen is blank though I sometimes get an alarm 2 minutes Plus after the alarm was meant to go off other times I neither see nor hear the alarm.
