[Bug 1297447] Re: Notify-osd fails to send messages to accessibility when using Gnome-orca
This is a relatively fresh install I am using, i.e a few weeks old, but
notifications are working without issue for me here, both with notify-
send, and other notifications like network status, etc.
Do volume change and display brightness change notifications work?
** Changed in: notify-osd (Ubuntu)

Title:
Notify-osd fails to send messages to accessibility when using Gnome-
orca
Status in “notify-osd” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When using Gnome-Orca notify-send "This is a test." results in Orca
saying nothing, further more I have not had a single notification
message using Trusty. Expected behaviour is to hear notification
messages such as network status, Dropbox or Ubuntu 1 messages etc.
